Online Registration is open on 1 February 2017


•The Full Conference and Student registration fees include:

- Attendance to the scientific program and a voucher for one paper submission in IEEE–TAS,

- An electronic copy of the proceedings distributed by IEEE,

- Publication of your oral or poster presentations in PDF format on the indico webpage,

- Welcome Reception, Exhibitors Reception, and Conference Banquet at the Maritime Museum,

- Refreshment breaks,

- Conference bag and conference program booklet.


•Please take note that:

- Only participants to the conference should register and each participant should only register once.

- Each poster or oral shall be presented by the “presenting author”.

- A registered participant can present several posters and/or orals. In other words, (s)he can be the “presenting author” of several posters and/or orals.

- A registered participant can submit only one manuscript for publication in IEEE-TAS.

- In the case you want to submit more than one paper, then you have to pay an extra paper fee of 400 euro per paper of 4 pages. This extra paper fee you have to pay at the registration desk when you arrive at the conference.


•Eligible for the students fee are Bachelor-, Master- or PhD students but not research fellows, nor Post-docs. On arrival at the registration desk they will have to show a document clarifying their status, by showing their age and a university ID card or a signed and stamped declaration of their inscription of their university administration.


•Eligible for the retiree fee are persons who are older than 65 and retired from a magnet technology related institute or company also showing some evidence of their retirement status.


•The Accompanying Person fee includes:

- Admission to Welcome Reception, Exhibitors Reception, and Conference Banquet at the Maritime Museum.

For accompanying persons a separate registration form has to be submitted.


•The Exhibitor fee includes:

- Attendance to the exhibition area,

- Admission to Welcome Reception, Exhibitors Reception, and Conference Banquet at the Maritime Museum,

- Tea and coffee breaks,

- Conference bag and conference program booklet.


Additional (additional payment required)


Lunch package fee € 100

Four buffet lunches at the Amsterdam RAI Convention center on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday and Thursday. The pictures below give an impression of the lunches. The lunch package can be ordered online up to two weeks before the start of the conference. Note that, if you registered already, adding the lunch package to your registration is still possible on request up to two weeks before the start of the conference.

Registration category

Click on the appropriate registration type corresponding to your choice. The registration fee will be filled automatically according to your choice (see registration fees).For accompanying persons a separate registration form should be submitted. If you want to attend two days, you should fill out a registration form per day.


Means of payment

The recommended means of payment is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). The conference secretariat has subcontracted payment by credit card to a secure payment service that guarantees confidentiality and security. Dutch participants can also pay by bank transfer using iDEAL. Please double check that all information is correct, especially your e-mail address. If you cannot pay per credit card or iDEAL, or if your institute or your organization requires a specific invoice, it is possible to request for an invoice. Please click on the appropriate radio button under payment methods.



You will receive an e-mail immediately after the payment has been approved. You will receive a second e-mail with your account details. If you have not received your confirmation (PDF) you can always download it in your account.

Your registration number (ID#..) is mentioned on this confirmation. You will need this for all correspondence with the registration office (


Cancellation policy

Cancellations are accepted by e-mail to the registration office ( The registration fee will be refunded minus 30% for cancellations received in writing no later than June 23, 2017. Thereafter no refunds will be made.


Letter of invitation

A letter of invitation for VISA purposes can be obtained after your on-line registration process has been completed. Contact the registration office ( with your request. The letter will be sent to you by e-mail as a PDF file.


Hotel accommodation through the RAI Hotel Services

The RAI Hotel Services is the official accommodation agency. Most hotels are at walking distance of the Amsterdam RAI Convention center, but also hotels in the city center are available. Please note that early booking is advised!
